Simple and quick drinking chocolate, all you need is vegan chocolate or drinking chocolate buttons I found in a health shop! On the packet it’s called the award winning hot chocolate from the Kokoa collection. Sometimes when I ran out of my chocolate buttons, I just use my normal eating vegan chocolate, I always collect vegan chocolate and stored them in my kitchen cupboard, more like for cooking I don’t have a sweet tooth! I only eat chocolate when I feel for it or have a crave for something sweet.
Are you ready to make this special drinking chocolate
2-3 button to a cup
1 cup soya milk
1/4 cup of double whipped cream
Pinch of salt
Pinch of vanilla extract
Simply place the buttons in your cup with some piping hot milk, making sure the milk has covered the chocolate! leave for sixty seconds to melt. Then stir until melted, top with the rest of milk adding your pinch of salt (optional) and vanilla. Make sure you’ve your whipped double cream ready to pour on top. I quite like the idea of whipping my own, cream rather than the ready-made tin one, for me! there is a big difference but the choice is yours whichever is easier for you. Feel free to add a few marshmallows if you like.
